I’m trying to enter your free full manuscript edit giveaway, but the entry screen isn’t loading properly. It shows I have only 1 entry. I did the other 3 options (FB and Twitter), but those 6 entries aren’t showing and when I click on those entry boxes (or down arrows) the screen doesn’t load correctly. Is it just me? Thx, Tena

    14. Tena wrote (on 08/10/15 at 7:50 am) :

Update – I do see the Tweet on my Twitter acct and I did receive a “like” for a comment made on your FB page. But the counter still only shows I have 1 entry and not the full 7. Glad to see I’m not the only one having problems. What to do?

    15. The Editor wrote (on 08/10/15 at 10:03 am) :

Okay, got all the options working. For the next giveaway I’ll have a redesigned page to avoid this issue, but if you’re viewing this on your computer, use the blue scroll bar to scroll down and see the full Rafflecopter entry box and the full steps for the Twitter and Facebook options. Mobile devices can use the options without problem. Next time I’ll have it running perfectly, gang!

    16. Tena wrote (on 08/11/15 at 9:58 am) :

Thx so much for fixing it! Now it works. Fingers crossed!!

    17. The Editor wrote (on 08/11/15 at 12:38 pm) :

Thanks for letting me know you got the extra entries in. I kept thinking about you, hoping you’d click in for them. Good luck!

    18. Donna wrote (on 08/10/15 at 7:32 am) :

I can’t make the last two options work, either.

    19. Jennifer Kirkeby wrote (on 08/10/15 at 7:37 am) :

    24. Cynthia Hawthorne wrote (on 08/10/15 at 8:39 am) :

      Hi Deborah,

I’m having the same issue. I’ve clicked on the 2 entries (Dear Editor and Facebook) multiple times, but it still shows 0 entries. 🙁

    25. Kit Grady wrote (on 08/10/15 at 9:42 am) :

I’d love to entry, but not sure if it is working properly. Thanks

    26. Judybee wrote (on 08/10/15 at 11:17 am) :

Love your blog and never miss a post! Congratulations on the award…well deserved!!!

    27. The Editor wrote (on 08/10/15 at 11:36 am) :

Okay, I got all the entry options working in the Rafflecopter form. For the next giveaway I’ll have a redesigned page to avoid this issue, but for now: People entering via mobile devices should have no issues. But if you’re viewing this on your computer, use the blue scroll bar to scroll down and see the full Rafflecopter entry box and the full steps for the Twitter and Facebook options — you need to complete ALL the steps to get the entry logged. I think the one you’re not seeing is the step that requires you to cut-and-past the Tweet url into the Rafflecopter form and click “I Tweeted!” Then it registers the entry. Thanks for your patience with the technical snafu. I’ll have a new approach in place for the next giveaway.

    31. The Editor wrote (on 08/10/15 at 12:44 pm) :

You don’t send the MS to me unless you win the giveaway, Traci. If you win, I’ll contact you and we’ll go from there. Good luck!

So glad I’ve found this blog! I’ve been looking for just this place to ask questions and find answers about the publishing business. I’ve been writing and taking on-line courses, webinars, and workshops for ten years. Hopefully this site will provide some good insights into the mystery that is “breaking into print’.
